| FC Fieldmaster's Jaeger of Mclean is out of Fieldmaster's Worth The Wait, by Fieldmaster's Opus The Hunting Dog. He is owned by Almost Heaven Kennels and was trained and handled to his Field Champion by Bruce Shaffer/Almost Heaven Kennels, with all of his Open broke stakes wins to finish coming in a shade over 8 months time. Jake is still competing in Amateur stakes to work toward earning his Amateur Field Championship, whenever any of my clients might be available to run him at a trial in Amateur for me. He presently has 7 points toward his AFC, having been handled by 3 different persons for me, which speaks to his desire to work for and please anyone that will take him out after birds! Jake is also a personal Grouse dog for me in the off season when we are able to go chase our native Ruffed Grouse in WV, MD and wherever else we may have the opportunity. He is pure business, hunts with intelligence in a snappy way of going and is a pure joy to watch covering ground, showing tremendous style when he slams up into a point.
